Following the rollout of the Gluesync 2.2 architecture and the recent introduction of Pipeline Maintenance Mode, MOLO17 is thrilled to announce the next wave of enhancements. Releases 2.2.2.0 and 2.2.2.1 deliver highly requested automation features. In addition, we are expanding cloud storage formats and strengthening enterprise deployment options.
Here is a closer look at the latest capabilities designed to streamline your real-time data integration workflows.
Automating operations: scheduled pipeline maintenance mode
Building on the recently released Maintenance Mode, we have now introduced the ability to schedule maintenance windows.
Database administrators can now proactively schedule periods to temporarily pause data synchronization for routine maintenance, infrastructure updates or troubleshooting. This approach preserves all connection settings and historical data while preventing alert fatigue. We updated the Chronos Scheduler, Automator, and Bootstrapper modules. Consequently, you can now schedule pipeline maintenance windows directly via Chronos APIs.
Expanding data lake capabilities: native CSV support
As enterprises continue to build robust data lakes, flexibility in data formatting is crucial. Gluesync now officially supports CSV file generation for Data Lake target agents, including AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage and Azure Blob Storage. This complements our existing Parquet support, giving data engineering teams the exact formats they need for downstream analytics and machine learning pipelines.
Enhanced target capabilities and Core Hub reliability
This release cycle also brings significant performance and reliability upgrades to our core engine and specific agents:
- Oracle target bulk loads: Oracle target agents now fully support Bulk loads, drastically reducing the time required for initial data snapshots into Oracle environments.
- Seamless CDC transitions: We delivered targeted fixes and enhancements for the Informix agent. Furthermore, we upgraded the Control Plane UI to display entity metrics accurately even when data stops flowing.
- Agent & UI refinements: The Informix agent has received targeted fixes and enhancements. Additionally, the Control Plane UI has undergone major improvements, including a fix to ensure the proper display of entity last metrics statuses even when no data is actively flowing.
Enterprise-grade installers and deployment
Deploying Gluesync in secure, complex enterprise environments is now more robust than ever.
- Stronger error handling: We upgraded both Windows and Linux installers with enhanced logging and stronger error handling, particularly for diagnosing endpoint reachability issues during setup.
- Oracle Linux support: The standard Linux installer now officially supports Oracle Linux.
- Air-gapped environments: For secure and disconnected environments, we now offer early access to offline Linux installers. Customers can contact support directly to request a download.
