Gluesync 2.1.8 has been released. The latest version of MOLO17’s real-time data integration platform is here. This release extends the orchestrator capabilities first introduced in v2.1.7 through in-platform updates via the web GUI, introduces a new Cassandra target agent and brings major performance gains for Snowflake pipelines.
Update Gluesync without leaving the UI
With version 2.1.8, administrators can now manage modules and updates directly within the Gluesync Core Hub interface.
The new Modules Manager gives teams one-click access to:
- view installed modules and their status;
- check for available updates automatically (the platform notifies when a new version is ready);
- perform manual updates from the UI with a single action;
- upload logs to MOLO17 support directly from the Settings menu for faster ticket resolution.
This feature builds on the Conductor module, released in v2.1.7, empowering Linux-based deployments to handle updates with no manual CLI interaction. By bringing update automation inside the browser, Gluesync reduces maintenance time and ensures seamless lifecycle management for large-scale data fabric environments.
Introducing the Cassandra target agent
Apache Cassandra support officially joins Gluesync 2.1.8, expanding the platform’s NoSQL portfolio and strengthening its hybrid data integration ecosystem.
With this new agent, organizations can replicate data in real time from any supported source to Cassandra targets, taking advantage of the database’s high availability and distributed architecture.
Main benefits:
- real-time CDC (Change Data Capture) flow from relational or NoSQL sources to Cassandra;
- optimized bulk writes and batched operations for massive data loads;
- automatic schema mapping and type handling within the Core Hub UI;
- transparent scaling for multi-node deployments.
Snowflake bulk write support
Gluesync 2.1.8 introduces bulk writes for Snowflake, bringing a significant performance boost to pipelines targeting cloud-native data warehouses.
With batch insert capabilities, data replication toward Snowflake becomes both faster and more resource-efficient – ideal for high-volume ETL, CDC and analytics workloads.
This means up to 5× faster ingestion rates on large snapshots and continuous updates, reduced latency during write operations and lower compute costs through optimized query execution plans.
This enhancement continues Gluesync’s focus on performance engineering for cloud storage targets, following earlier optimizations for AWS S3 and Parquet formats introduced in version 2.1.6.
Additional UI and agent improvements
Beyond headline features, Gluesync 2.1.8 delivers numerous quality-of-life updates:
- Custom precision and scale editing in the Fields Editor before creating target tables.
- Refined notification rate-limiting for better real-time monitoring UX.
- Fixes for NoSQL target columns editing and minor UI enhancements for improved readability.
