What’s new in Gluesync 2.1.2

Enhanced monitoring: real-time performance metrics

The flagship enhancement in Gluesync 2.1.2 is the addition of new performance KPIs in the Core Hub’s Control Plane. These metrics give administrators immediate visibility into critical data replication metrics.

• Rows Per Second (RPS): instantly view throughput rates directly from the Core Hub’s left panel
• Last Transaction ID: track the latest processed database transaction
• Last Transaction Timestamp: monitor when the most recent data was processed
• Applied Function: view which transformations are being applied to your data

These real-time metrics provide administrators with immediate insight into pipeline performance, helping to identify bottlenecks and optimize data flows.

Advanced scheduling with CRON support

Gluesync 2.1.2 significantly improves scheduling capabilities with the introduction of CRON-like expressions alongside the existing human-readable format. This enhancement enables more precise and flexible job scheduling:

• define complex recurring schedules using standard CRON syntax (e.g., 0 0 1-7 * 0 for the first Sunday of each month at midnight)
• enable or disable the scheduler directly through the UI
• simplified job creation process with clearer options for applying schedules across multiple entities

Schema control and Windows support

• Fixed a bug that could prevent the immediate termination of a Snapshot task
• Resolved an issue affecting the ability to browse target objects when experiencing connectivity latency
• Oracle Triggers agent now works even when the COMPATIBLE flag is set lower than 12.2
• Various improvements to PostgreSQL, AS400 and MS SQL Server agents
• UDFs now support BIG DECIMAL data type (previously unsupported)
• UI polishing and numerous minor bugfixes
